ON EXCHANGE IFP

On-exchange health insurance is bought through the government Marketplace. In California, it is a state run marketplace known as Covered California. These plans follow ACA rules and include key benefits like doctor visits and hospital care.

If you qualify, you can get help paying through a government subsidy. It’s a good choice if you need coverage and want financial help.

OFF EXCHANGE IFP

Off-exchange health insurance is bought directly from an insurance company, not through the government marketplace. These plans still follow ACA rules but don’t offer subsidies. It’s a good option if you don’t qualify for financial help or want more plan choices.

If you’d rather enroll in a non-governmental health plan, all we need is your age and zip code and we’ll have a selection of plan options in seconds!

MEDICARE

Original Medicare covers only 80% of approved medical costs. A Medicare Supplement (Medigap) or a Medicare Advantage Plan can help pay the rest. You can first sign up for Medicare around your 65th birthday. After that, you may be able to enroll during a Special Enrollment Period or during the Annual Enrollment Period from October 15 to December 7th.
